Viticulture 4.0: Innovation and Sustainability with the VTSkills Project

Mar 18, 2026

The evolution of the wine sector now requires cross-cutting skills that combine agronomic tradition with the most advanced digital technologies. Within the framework of the European Erasmus+ VTSkills project, we are pleased to present the new e-learning course on Sustainable Precision Viticulture.

This training programme offers an in-depth overview of the use of sustainable techniques, the application of sensors, and data analysis to optimise vineyard management, reduce environmental impact, and improve production quality, as well as the entrepreneurial skills needed to apply these solutions effectively.

A unique opportunity for students and professionals who wish to acquire the green and digital skills needed to lead the transition towards smarter and more sustainable agriculture.

Participation in the course will lead to the award of a micro-credential, recognised at European level, certifying the acquisition of key skills in sustainable precision viticulture and granting 3 ECTS credits.

The course is free of charge, will be delivered 100% online between 6 and 30 April, and carries an academic load of 3 ECTS credits. Registration will remain open until 23 March.
