Meet the AGRODOÑANA
This is a project designed to accelerate the agroecological transition of traditional woody crops in the Doñana area, promoting more sustainable management of soil, water, biodiversity, and inputs.
As an innovative hub, the project incorporates digital agriculture tools, including satellite remote sensing systems, advanced data analysis, and artificial intelligence, which make it possible to assess the status of farms, monitor their progress, and measure the real impact of the agroecological practices applied.
Expected outcomes
- Facilitate the adoption of agroecological practices based on Nature-Based Solutions.
- Promote the digitization of woody crops and improve decision-making through data and technology.
- Demonstrate improvements in sustainability, efficient water use, reduction of inputs, and increased biodiversity.
- Train farmers, technicians, and professionals in sustainable land management.
- Generate a replicable model for other agricultural areas with woody crops.
