PhD in Agricultural Engineering, specializing in Rural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and PhD from the University of Seville in 2017. Digital Marketing Manager at Corteva Agriscience.
He has received awards such as the best communication at the last congress of the Spanish Society of Agroengineering, and others for the development of new methodologies in the use of drones for irrigation management of super-intensive olive orchards.
Research lines
These are some of the main lines of research in which Jorge Martínez has been working in recent years.
He has expertise in the development of methodologies for statistical analysis of large volumes of data in R, Machine Learning techniques in Python and R, and systems based on Computer Vision, as well as in mechatronics, LiDAR sensors and robotics control based on microcontrollers.
